Control for Simulated Human and Animal Motion

چکیده
The intelligent and graceful motion control exhibited by animals and humans remains a great challenge to replicate. We summarize some of the disciplines and applications related to human and animal motor control. We give a computer science perspective on some of the successes and failures in this area and provide a list of questions which need to be addressed. This is followed by an overview of several methods we have used for controlling simulated human and animal motion.
